CraftCakesClt is about food integrity. As so many in the savory world have embraced the new trademarks of the culinary zeitgeist – farm to table, locally sourced produce, experimental pairings, minimal yet vibrant plating – our company strives to harness those ideals into the world of cakes and baked goods.
Each scratch made cake is made with the best local ingredients we can find. We have been so fortunate to have forged such close relationships with farmers, florists, and producers in and around the Charlotte area.
All of our cake batters are egg and dairy free, using fresh applesauce, flax, or aquafaba, and almond or coconut milk. We make a unique vegan buttercream, and also offer a decadent whole buttercream made with local organic cultured butter and local pasture raised eggs.
Who’s your baker
Brigitte Oger was born and raised in Miami, Florida. Working as a cake decorator in Miami through her time at Johnson and Wales University, Brigitte moved to Charlotte, NC in 2012 to finish her degree in baking and pastry. She fell in love with Charlotte and its vibrant culinary scene. Working as a pastry chef and holding various positions in Charlotte restaurants and bakeries, Brigitte was ready to start her own endeavor in 2016. At your one-on-one consultation Brigitte will discuss with you all the details of your wedding in order to ensure the best approach to creating and executing your cake. At this time you will have the opportunity to learn about what makes our cakes special and ask any questions you may have. Consultations range from 30 minutes to 1 hour and you will sample 3 flavors + 3 Fillings of your choosing. Email us directly at firstname.lastname@example.org to set up an appointment.
Tastings are $50 and we can accommodate up to 4 guests
Pricing for cakes:
Each of our cakes are unique and full of abstract, artistic detail. We have a base price for each size and that can vary based on final design, cake batter type (standard or gluten free), floral arrangements and made-to-order toppers.

Birthday, engagement, shower, and party cakes can be picked up by appointment or delivered.
Wedding cakes that are 2 or more tiers require delivery and setup. We do this to ensure proper delivery to venue, safe setup, and peace of mind on your special day.
Delivery and Setup fee: Within I-485 corridor- $30. Beyond I-485- $4 per mile.
Best time to order:
Orders placed within 4 days or less of event day will incur a expedited fee that is 20% of the total cake price.
For Celebration cakes- 1 month in advance
For Wedding cakes- 6 months – 1 year in advance
